Path Construction rehabilitated Village Center, a 14-story, 200-unit residential development originally built in 1983, along with ten two-story townhome buildings. Renovations, totaling 167,000 SF, included upgrades to individual units, common areas, and the surrounding site. The scope of work encompassed demolition, carpentry, roofing, window replacement, elevator lifts, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
In addition to the rehabilitation, Path constructed a new 3,000 SF community building on-site. The project required careful sequencing and execution to maintain safety and accessibility for residents while modernizing facilities and improving building performance. Collaboration with Jonathan Rose Companies, the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), and Enterprise Green Communities supported sustainable, community-focused outcomes.
