Path Construction completed a nine-story precast air traffic control tower at Lewis University Airport, delivering a specialized facility supporting active aviation operations. The structure includes a 360-degree control cab with data glass for full airfield visibility, along with a CMU base housing the vestibule, generator room, and sprinkler pump room. Interior buildout provided office and support spaces across multiple levels, including dedicated areas for air traffic controllers and a server room supporting FAA communication systems. Construction required integration of secure building systems and coordination with ongoing airport activity. The completed tower provides a controlled, efficient environment for airfield management and long-term operational reliability.
