This project included the demolition and reconstruction of the Cook County Forest Preserve
Wildlife Headquarters, including the biological lab and office spaces. The lab focuses on wildlife
health monitoring, species research, environmental impact assessment, genetic studies, and public
education. Upgrades included a new concrete floor slab, under-slab utilities, metal siding, windows,
doors, masonry and drywall partitions, ceramic tile, carpet, a new HVAC system, electrical service,
and complete interior and exterior finishes.
