At Plaza del Lago, Path Construction renovated 18 second-floor apartments totaling 10,500 SF. The project addressed outdated and non-compliant building systems, including galvanized water lines, undersized electrical service, soft copper gas lines, and a hot water heating system with failing boilers. New copper piping was installed throughout the building, serving both apartments and ground-floor retail spaces. Each unit received a split HVAC system, updated kitchens with new cabinets and appliances, and renovated bathrooms, including lowering 6-inch raised floors to create level access.
Work in an occupied multi-unit building required phasing construction to maintain tenant access and minimize disruption. The renovation modernized the apartments, brought all systems up to code, and enhanced both functionality and aesthetics throughout the building.
