This Mini Storage Depot project in Concord, North Carolina, involved the ground-up construction of an 82,283 square-foot self-storage facility offering both climate-controlled and standard storage options. The core structure utilized cold-formed metal framing and structural steel, with an exterior finished using a mix of durable metal panels, EIFS, and exterior masonry for an enhanced aesthetic.
The facility is composed of four buildings: one central three-story building (Building A) containing all 477 climate-controlled units and the management office, and three single-story non-climate-controlled buildings (Buildings B, C, and D) providing an additional 78 units. The unit mix in the main building ranges from 5′×5′ through 10′×20′, providing a versatile selection of modern storage solutions for the Union Street community.
