Path Construction completed the 37,500 SF Lake County Regional Operations and Communications (ROC) Facility, consolidating operations for 20 agencies—including 911 centers, fire and police departments, and Emergency Telephone System Boards —into a centralized hub. The project included a state-of-the-art data center/server room with a clean agent fire protection system and a 75kVA UPS to maintain continuous operations. The facility incorporated sustainable features, including in-ground geothermal wells, photovoltaic solar arrays, and energy-efficient design targeting LEED certification and Net Zero Energy status. Passive security measures, reinforced construction, and high-impact windows enhanced safety, while daylight-filled workspaces, training areas, and wellness spaces supported staff well-being. The modernized Emergency Operations Center enables disaster preparedness and inter-agency coordination. Path Construction delivered a durable, secure, and technologically advanced facility that improves emergency response, collaboration, and operational efficiency across Lake County.
