Harvard Elementary Renovation
The Harvard Elementary Renovation focused on comprehensive modernization of the envelope and interior. Exterior improvements included comprehensive masonry and concrete repairs, full tuckpointing of the façade, and the reconstruction of masonry parapets. All existing roofing systems were removed and replaced. Environmental work included targeted abatement of asbestos and lead-based paint. Interior improvements featured selective plaster repairs, floor replacement, and painting within corridors, classrooms, offices, and the auditorium. The project concluded with site work involving new asphalt paving and striping.
Deneen Elementary Renovation
The Deneen Elementary Renovation involved a complete, intensive upgrade of mechanical systems and infrastructure. This included the replacement of air ventilators, convectors, and fan coil units in all classrooms and offices. Major equipment replacements covered boilers, booster pumps, water heaters, and all associated piping and valves. Additional mechanical work included repairs to chiller circuits, makeup tanks, and air handling units, as well as the integration of the Building Automation System (BAS). Interior improvements featured selective plaster and flooring repairs. Pre-K classrooms received specific upgrades, including new marker boards, millwork, automatic door operators, and drinking fountains. Civil work completed the project with the installation of new ADA-compliant concrete stairs, ramps, and handrails, along with asphalt paving and sidewalk repairs.
