Path Construction completed renovations of the 250-guest-room hotel and public spaces at the DoubleTree Guest Suites & Conference Center in Downers Grove. The project included steel stud framing, new hollow metal doors and frames, upgraded lighting and convenience outlets, low-voltage HVAC modifications, plumbing, insulation, architectural casework, solid surface and laminate countertops, and ADA accessibility improvements.

Working within an operational hotel presented challenges, including maintaining guest services, coordinating around events, and minimizing disruptions. Through planning and execution, the project delivered modernized rooms and enhanced public areas, improving comfort, accessibility, and the overall guest experience.
