Countee Cullen Elementary, a distinguished institution within the Chicago Public Schools system, was recognized for its excellence in language arts, mathematics, and technology. The school earned numerous accolades, including first place in the regional math competition, and several of its educators were nominated for the prestigious Golden Apple awards, reflecting the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
Path Construction was chosen to execute a comprehensive renovation project at Countee Cullen Elementary. The project involved the installation of a new roofing system, which included the removal of the old roof and the application of a modern replacement. Additionally, the scope of work encompassed significant site improvements, such as the replacement of windows, masonry restorations, and general interior remodeling. The renovation also featured the installation of new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, enhancing the facility’s functionality and providing a contemporary learning environment. These upgrades, from the roofing to the MEP systems, supported and advanced the school’s dedication to delivering an exceptional educational experience.
