Path Construction renovated the three-story, steel-framed, brick-clad facility to prepare it for future use in higher education. Exterior upgrades included a full PVC roofing replacement with roof drains and sheet metal, 22 new skylights with roofing infill, replacement of aluminum windows and doors, 100% tuck-pointing, and rebuilding of the masonry parapet to restore structural integrity and appearance.
Mechanical system improvements included removal and refurbishment of air handling units, replacement of the chiller, cooling tower, and steam boilers, updates to fire and jockey pumps, modifications to the sprinkler system, and installation of new CCTV cameras and exterior parapet lighting.
Working on an active campus required scheduling around ongoing operations and coordinating multiple trades in tight spaces. The project enhanced building performance, safety, and aesthetics while providing a modernized, durable facility for future academic use.
