Path Construction renovated Burton Place, a 10-story, 200-unit residential development for seniors, originally built in 1978. The project encompassed upgrades to individual units, common areas, and the surrounding site, totaling 171,211 SF. Renovation work included demolition, fire restoration, carpentry, roofing, window replacement, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing improvements.
The project required deliberate sequencing to minimize disruption for residents while modernizing the building’s systems and enhancing durability, energy efficiency, and livability. Collaboration with Jonathan Rose Companies, the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), and Enterprise Green Communities supported sustainable and community-focused outcomes.
