Indoor Agriculture and Grow Facility

Indoor Agriculture and Grow Facility

Project Summary

The 74,000-square-foot indoor agricultural grow facility is a highly specialized, MEP-intensive design-build project that focuses on delivering optimal conditions for plant growth while prioritizing energy efficiency and sustainability. Housed in a large, warehouse-like space, the facility was designed to meet complex climate control, lighting, irrigation, and automation requirements necessary for high-performance indoor agriculture.

Given the intricacy of the environmental needs for plant health, the facility integrates advanced HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and automation systems to ensure precise control over temperature, humidity, lighting cycles, and water/nutrient delivery. The design-build approach enabled seamless coordination of these systems from the outset, ensuring a streamlined construction process and the ability to meet specific operational goals.

A focus on energy efficiency and sustainability was central to the project, incorporating innovative solutions to reduce energy consumption and improve the facility’s overall environmental impact. Additionally, the facility was designed with high-security features, ensuring the protection of both the crops and the valuable data systems supporting the operation.

This project represents the forefront of agricultural innovation, combining cutting-edge technologies with a strategic design to foster sustainable and efficient plant growth in a secure, controlled environment.
