Path Construction renovated approximately 20,000 SF of classrooms, restrooms, and 1st- and 2nd-floor corridors within an existing higher education facility. The work included removal of asbestos-containing floor tiles, installation of new flooring, wall, and ceiling finishes, and upgrades to fire protection and HVAC systems to meet current safety and comfort standards. Electrical and lighting systems were also modernized throughout the corridors. Major challenges included safely removing ACM while the building remained occupied and sequencing trades to maintain ongoing campus operations, all while updating spaces to enhance functionality and aesthetics for students and faculty.
