Path Construction installed 17 new Pace Bus stations along the Milwaukee line, extending from the Village of Niles, IL, to the City of Chicago. The 17 stations feature community-specific design elements and upgraded amenities, including shelters with interior lighting, seating, bicycle racks, and overhead heating for winter comfort. Each station includes a vertical marker with electronic signage providing real-time Bus Tracker data, regional transit info, and neighborhood maps. All stations are fully ADA-compliant. Challenges included installing modern amenities while maintaining active transit routes and minimizing disruption to commuters along a busy urban corridor.
