150 N. Riverside

150 N. Riverside

Project Summary

As part of the comprehensive infrastructure upgrades surrounding the 150 N. Riverside site, critical improvements were completed to support the new building and its surrounding public realm. The scope included the construction of a new, high-quality sidewalk deck, which significantly enhanced pedestrian connectivity and improved accessibility around the building. This new deck was seamlessly integrated into the urban landscape, providing a durable and aesthetically pleasing walking surface. A vital engineering component of the project was the installation of approximately 900 linear feet of expansion joints around the building’s perimeter. These joints are essential for accommodating expected structural movement caused by temperature fluctuations, load shifts, and settlement, thereby ensuring the long-term stability and performance of the overall site infrastructure and protecting the investment in the new building.
