New construction of a 9-story, 83,000 SF building at 1203 N California Ave in Humboldt Park, Chicago, Illinois, includes 64 affordable housing units, first-floor amenities, a second-story terrace, and 3,200 SF of retail space. The building construction is comprised of a post-tensioned concrete structure with a face brick and cast stone facade on concrete caisson foundations. It features a mural by local artist Antonio Beniquez on the rainscreen panels at the north elevation of the building.
