The EMS Addition Project involves the construction of a new 53,000 square foot, three-story building located at the southern end of the Phase 1 Joint Public Safety Training Campus. This addition will significantly enhance the capabilities of the campus, providing modernized facilities designed to support the training needs of emergency responders and public safety personnel.
Project Overview
The new building will feature classrooms, training areas, offices, and simulation spaces designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality public safety training. The expanded facility will accommodate emergency medical services (EMS), law enforcement, fire departments, and other public safety agencies, providing the space and resources needed for effective training programs.
Phased Construction Approach
The project will be executed while the existing training facility remains operational. Following the PBC’s phasing plan, work will be carefully staged to minimize disruption to ongoing training activities. This phased approach ensures that the existing facility can continue to serve its purpose throughout construction, allowing for a smooth transition once the new building is completed.
Restoration of Existing Structures
In addition to the construction of the new building, the project will include the demolition and restoration of existing exterior walls, roofing, and related components. These updates will ensure that the entire campus remains structurally sound and visually cohesive, integrating the new addition with the existing facility.
Communication and Security Upgrades
The owner will also manage a separate but concurrent effort to install upgraded wireless, communication, and security systems. These enhancements will ensure reliable, secure operations across the entire campus, supporting both the safety and efficiency of training activities.
Commitment to Public Safety
The EMS Addition Project represents a significant investment in the future of public safety training. By providing modernized facilities and upgraded technology, this project will better equip first responders to serve and protect the community. As the general contractor, we are dedicated to delivering a high-quality, efficient expansion that will support the ongoing success of the training campus for years to come.
