The White Pine Wastewater Treatment Plant project involved the construction of a new Aero-Mod activated sludge facility to improve operational efficiency and sustainability. Work included a reinforced concrete tank measuring 171 feet by 77 feet and 16 feet high, serving as the core of the treatment process. Additional concrete vaults were built to house key equipment and manage wastewater flow, along with a new ultraviolet sanitizing building that integrates advanced UV technology for effective disinfection. Three new Kaeser blowers were installed to support biological treatment, while the existing blower building received interior renovations and expansions. Site redevelopment included full regrading, improved drainage, and landscaping to stabilize and enhance appearance. Throughout construction, the existing plant remained fully operational, requiring precise planning and phased execution to maintain continuous service.
