The project encompassed 84,000 square feet of additions and renovations to Stickney’s research and development laboratory and engineering center. The expanded facility included specialized laboratory spaces such as bioassay, urology, toxicology, benthos, sludge processing, aquatic biology, and fisheries labs, as well as advanced controlled environment and growth chambers, an elaborate greenhouse, a dedicated engineering center, and quality control, construction, and field service engineering departments. Nearly $500,000 in laboratory casework was incorporated into the design. The work was executed with careful attention to safety, quality, and efficiency, providing a fully functional, state-of-the-art research environment while meeting all project objectives.
