As part of the infrastructure upgrades surrounding the 150 N. Riverside site, critical improvements were completed to support the new building and its surrounding public realm.
The work included the construction of a new sidewalk deck, which enhanced pedestrian connectivity and improved accessibility around the building. The deck was integrated seamlessly with the existing urban landscape, providing a safe and durable walking surface that complemented the site’s architectural design.
In addition, approximately 900 linear feet of expansion joints were installed around the building’s perimeter. These joints played a vital role in accommodating structural movement due to temperature fluctuations, load shifts, and settlement—ensuring the long-term stability and performance of the infrastructure.
