The Rolling Knolls Pavilion is a LEED Platinum-certified community facility that combines sustainable innovation with historic preservation. Spanning 5,000 square feet, the Pavilion incorporates a portion of the original clubhouse and was designed to operate with 50% less energy than comparable buildings—up to 70% less with renewable energy systems. Durable, locally sourced, and recycled materials were selected to reduce environmental impact and support long-term adaptability. The project required careful integration of the historic structure with advanced energy systems while maintaining site protection and environmental goals. The completed Pavilion stands as a model of sustainable architecture that honors community heritage.
