This project involved the complete modernization of the Fox River Grove Metra Commuter Station. The initial phase required the demolition of the existing station site, including the platform and parking lot. This was followed by the ground-up construction of two new commuter buildings, which significantly enhance the facilities available to riders. The project was completed with the full reconstruction of the commuter parking lot, resulting in an entirely updated, modern, and efficient station capable of serving the community’s needs.
